Which can be said that it has capacity to hold things together. This is made of earth and water in our body and is characterized by fluidity, strength and nourishment. When imbalanced, it produces heaviness and phlegm (MUCUS) in the body. The best example of Kapha dosha is cold and coughs which is the common symptom seen in every person. When kapha dosha is in balance, a person tends to be slow and stable and excels in the job situation that requires logical analysis. When kapha dosha is imbalanced, a person can’t get sound sleep.

Pitta is a combination of Agni (FIRE) + Jal (WATER)

A very common example of Pitta Dosha is ACIDITY The functional unit of Pitta Dosha is characterized by heat, temperature and digestion in the body when it is out of balance, it make the person sharp tongue and sarcastic. When in balance, a person shows signs of being competitive, confident, and balanced. This dosha has a power and energy to transform the life of an individual. This dosha sustains the body when it is balanced, but creates many diseases when imbalanced.
